Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• 5+years of experience as a DBA, Database Engineer, developer, or similar role is required.
• Experience in working on a variety of processes that will manipulate very large amounts of data.
• Experience with non-relational database technologies as well.
• Expert level in My SQL Server programming.
• Proficiency coding in UNIX shell and SQL, and at least one procedural language such as Python, Ruby, Java, Perl, C++.
• Intermediate level in My SQL Services and Administration.
• Intermediate level in Data Modelling and Data Architecture.
• 2+ Years of development with No SQL/Big Data frameworks like Elastic search or MongoDB.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Nice to Haves
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services such as RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, IAM, EC2, S3, CLI, SDK or equivalent cloud services.
